About Sunday School Direct

Sunday School Direct® is a family-owned business. Former missionaries Jack and Susan VanSciver have been serving churches through this ministry since 1985. Upon retirement, Julie and Shane Murphy purchased the business with the same goal in mind: to partner with churches around the world to bring them their ministry needs.

Our heart for ministry has always meant that providing Bibles, Sunday School curriculum, and other ministry-related supplies is our top priority. We stand ready to serve you with your ministry needs. By providing these materials, we seek to partner with the churches in fulfilling their ministries.

Get to Know Our Family

Shane and Julie were married in 2012 after meeting at Grove City College in northwestern Pennsylvania. When the opportunity to be a part of Sunday School Direct presented itself, it just felt right. They both have a huge heart for God and for actively contributing in the local church. Sunday School Direct has been the perfect platform to not only help churches and ministries around the world, but also to play a part in helping adults, students, and kids to build a relationship with Jesus. Shane & Julie currently reside in State College, PA with their three young children, Finn, Asher & Juniper.
